Your attendance is requested by Her Majesty’s Secret Service at Sacred Heart Academy’s annual benefit event – The 2017 Live and Silent Auction and Dinner – on Saturday, April 8 beginning at 6:00 p.m. at Cascade in Hamden. “This year’s 0070th – License to Give Auction promises a fun-filled, wonderful, and exciting evening…a memorable event with a great theme honoring our 70th Anniversary, divine cuisine, and the opportunity to bid on one-of-a-kind, must-have items. The Auction is our signature fundraising event and parent chairs John and Anne Cropp P’18 and the Steering Committee are working tirelessly to make this event a tremendous success. I am so grateful for their support because all proceeds directly benefit our students, ” offered President Sr. Sheila O’Neill, ASCJ, Ph.D.,’71.” Eric Hummel returns as auctioneer for the thirteenth consecutive year.
Up for bid this year are exciting trips south and north, sunset boating cruises, sports tickets and equipment including VIP tickets to Lime Rock Racing, UCONN Basketball Tickets, and Red Sox tickets behind HOME PLATE, golf packages, catered dinners, fine jewelry, fine art, designer handbags and other goods, electronics, and much, much more…something for everyone!
Adding to the festivities is the $10,000 0070th – License to Win Cash Raffle. Tickets, at $20 each, can be purchased by calling the Academy at 203-288-2309 or visiting www.sacredhearthamden.org/auction and downloading the raffle ticket order form. The drawing will be held at 9:00 p.m. the night of the Auction and winner need not be present.
