Come and Remember at “Chapel Bells”
November 9, 2016
“Chapel Bells,” our Annual Memorial Mass & Reception, will be held on Thursday evening, November 17 at 7:00 p.m. in the Mount Sacred Heart Chapel. This liturgy is held in remembrance of and to honor deceased alumnae, family, and friends of the Sacred Heart community.
“This is a special time to pause, remember, and keep in mind those no longer with us, but always in our hearts. A very important part of the “strongbonds formed at S-H-A”—from our alma mater— is spiritual support and prayerful remembrance of our deceased loved ones, especially those with whom we shared special times during our years at the Academy. The names of deceased alumnae and former faculty will be read prior to Mass, accompanied by the tolling of the bells and lighting of the candles as a special memorial,” offered Director of Alumnae Relations Sr. Mariette Moan, ASCJ, ’77. Names of immediate family members who have died during the past year will be entered in a special Book of Remembrance for the Liturgy.
All members of the greater Sacred Heart Academy community, especially families and friends of deceased alumnae, are invited to attend. For more information, contact Alumnae Director Sr. Mariette Moan, ASCJ, ’77 at firstname.lastname@example.org or 203-288-2309, x313.
