National Latin Honor Society Inducts New Members

In May, seventeen students were inducted into the National Latin Honor Society. Students must earn a 90% or higher in Latin for three consecutive quarters. The National Latin Honor Society promotes high standards of scholarship, rewards scholastic achievement and encourages appreciation for different cultures and language learning. Latin educator Jessica Kapteyn, Ph.D. presided over the ceremony, which was held in conjunction with the National French and Spanish Honor Society inductions.

The Sacred Heart Academy chapter of the National Latin Honor Society welcomed the following new members:
