Experience The Spirit of America…A Patriotic Party with Pizzazz with hors d’oeuvres, buffet dining, open bar, and desserts at our signature fundraising event – The 2016 Live and Silent Auction on Saturday, April 9 beginning at 6:00 p.m. 51543-01-HRThis year’s Auction promises a fun-filled, wonderful, and exciting evening…a memorable event with a great theme, stunning staging, divine cuisine, and the opportunity to bid on one-of-a-kind, must-have items. Our auction chairs, Mike & Dana Ajello, and the Steering Committee have worked tirelessly to make this a tremendous success. I am so grateful for their support. All proceeds directly benefit the students so I hope to see you there,” offered President Sr. Sheila O’Neill, ASCJ, Ph.D.,’71.

Eric Hummel returns as auctioneer for the twelfth consecutive year. This year’s special guest is current parent and WTNH News 8 Medical Reporter Jocelyn Maminta, as master of ceremonies. Jocelyn’s daughter is a member of our freshman class.

Michael & Dana Ajello, are spearheading The Spirit of America, along with a committee comprised of more than 75 parents, alumnae, and friends. This year’s Steering Committee includes: Stephen & Jacqueline Fitzgerald, Jeffrey & Frances Pellegrino Granquist ’80, Krisanne Antonucci of, Maria Cammarota, Gilbert Earl, Thomas Giglietti, Maureen Hayes, Catherine Lamont, Scott & Christine Maturo, Rob & Kristin McMahon, Margaret Palmieri, Lisa DeFrancesco Pyne ’88, Karen Walsh Reidy, and Mary Lyons Samson ’81.

Up for bid this year are exciting trips south and north, sports tickets and equipment, golf packages, catered dinners, fine jewelry, fine art, designer items, electronics, and much, much more. Something for everyone!

Adding to the festivities is the $10,000 All American Cash Raffle. The drawing will be held at 9:00 p.m. the night of the Auction and winner need not be present.
