Maggie McAndrew ’13 Shares her Sparkle

February 29, 2016

princessselfieCo-founder of The Princess Project Maggie McAndew ’13 recently returned to campus to tell her story to current students. The Princess Project is an organization that takes college-age students, dressed as princesses and super heroes, to hospitals, special education programs, and foster care programs “to restore the magic of believing at a time when children need to be just kids.” Maggie, along with co-founder Kylee McGrane, explained to students how  “we turned our passion for serving others into something we love every day.”

Currently a junior at The College of Mt. St. Vincent, Maggie is studying English and special education. Her love of working with children inspired her work behind The Princess Project and she credits her family and her time at Sacred Heart for her passion and service to others.

Congrats to Maggie—Sacred Heart is proud!

Thank you to Fox 61 reporter Tony Terzi for joining us at the assembly. Learn more about Maggie’s visit here!
