September 4, 2012

Join us in welcoming three new faculty members and welcoming back two returning faculty members. We are pleased that they will be joining the Sacred Heart Academy community and are confident that they will be an asset to our school.

Anna Bouteneff attended Northeastern University in Boston where she earned a B.S. in Political Science and a M.P.A degree. She later attended Sacred Heart University where she earned a M.A. in Secondary Education as well as Connecticut State Certification. She will teach French II Honors and French III. Prior to joining the faculty at Sacred Heart, Miss Bouteneff worked at the Flood Learns After School Hours Program, the Bridgeport Public School System and Newtown Public School District. Before entering the field of education, she worked as an executive assistant for an international financial software company headquartered in Paris, France. She enjoys reading, listening to music, travelling, spending time with her nieces and nephews, and taking photos.

Stephanie Kimball joins the Mathematics Department and will teach AP Statistics, PreCalculus, Geometry, and Functions, Statistics & Trigonometry. She earned a B.A. from Southern Connecticut State University in mathematics where she graduated cum laude and was the recipient of the Francis A. O’Connell Memorial Scholarship. While at Southern, she tutored math in the tutorial center. Ms. Kimball earned her M.S. from the University of Connecticut also in mathematics. While pursuing her degree she taught Calculus for Business and Economics to undergrads. She is a member of both the American Mathematical Society and the Mathematics Association of America and does private tutoring. For pleasure Ms. Kimball enjoys gardening, cooking, singing in area choral groups, and has recently begun making her own cheese.

He also taught Spanish at both Hopkins School and St. Joseph High School in Trumbull. In his spare time, Mr. Rollán enjoys spending time with his family, reading, listening to music, playing the guitar and watching Real Madrid play soccer…he is an avid Real Madrid supporter!
